DEADLINE EXTENDED: Materials Exhibition

Applications now being accepted from designers and makers of 3D objects to exhibit in Materials, a 3D design exhibition. This exhibition aims to bring together an exciting array of local designers and makers.

Natural. Synthetic. Malleable. Permanent. Recycled. Sustainable. Precious. Traditional.

Contemporary designers and consumers of design products are spoilt for choice in terms of design, function, and materials. Materials aims to bring together works by a wide variety of local designers who are creating 3D objects, using traditional materials and/or new technology. From environmental concerns to whether or not an object will look good on Instagram, consumers have preferences that designers either cater for or challenge.

Brunswick Street Gallery encourages applications from local designers whose work responds to consumer aesthetics whilst exploring new material technologies, or revitalising traditional methods for a contemporary audience.
