Exhibition from 6pm, 14 November - 3pm, 27 November 2014

Home Ground

HomeGround Services is a not-for-profit, secular organisation that provides housing and services to homeless people in Melbourne.

The HomeGround art exhibition has been held annually for the past four years. It provides the opportunity for people who are currently experiencing, or have previously experienced homelessness, to exhibit and sell their art work. All funds from the sale of artwork goes to the artist.

The exhibition aims to challenge the often negative stereotypes associated with homelessness, raise awareness of HomeGround’s work and provide a platform for the artists to display their work in a public forum.

This year's exhibition themed "Pieces and Places" has the concept of 'what are the pieces and place that make you think of home?'

HomeGround is proud of the calibre of art created by our clients and are excited to exhibit over 65 pieces this year.

The exhibition is an exchange of artworks created by marginalised people in cities across the world. Started in 2013 between London & New York, it aims to include a new international city each year. For 2014, this special London exhibition of paintings and works on paper are created by people in New York and Melbourne
