Archive > I Remember When I Was Young..., Lynette Anne Young

Lynette Young's new work of unalloyed fraught tension is becoming well known as the artist's blue/red period. A clear transformation of the underlying embodiment of her personal frictional intensity.

The exhibition shows a shockingly contemporary re-imagining of masked subconscious transience, directly from the fragmented soul of the artist. At times holistic, protracted and vulnerable, cryptic or profane, all of the works are powerful, enigmatic and mysterious.

Structural, innocence and longevity are all good terms, none of which describe these paintings. The artist holds a window to the light of the symphony of the moden world and her works are her own refracted and distorted opus.

Exhibition runs from 6pm, 1 April - 3pm, 14 April 2016.
