Archive > The Book of Forth, Judith Lanigan

Judith Lanigan is a creative with a fascination for story. She expresses her ideas in performance, writing and painting. Her story ideas, which influence her visual work, are usually triggered by odd fragments she finds in her reading and a number of these included a fictional circus.

Judith originally explored these images as a series of circus banners for Forth's Circus however, what remained the strongest imagery for her was the idea of private family albums. Thus, she has found herself re-painting the banners - the public face of the circus - into the private momentos of an eccentric family life.

Exhibition runs from 6pm, 5th February - 3pm, 18th February 2016.
