Drawing 13b (1)
Brunswick Street Gallery’s upcoming exhibition offers an investigative approach to drawing – as both process, medium, and methodology. Involving a spectrum of both emerging and established artists who self-define their work as drawing, this exhibition seeks to re-orient expectations of drawn work within the frame of contemporary art practice. Intended to be an exploration, this exhibition will investigate the intricacies and developments of contemporary drawing practices. -

Capture the Fleeting, 14 June - 28 June 2013 (2)
Capture the Fleeting intends to explore the ways in which we attempt to capture, or freeze our fleeting moments. Time races past us and the present moment is inevitably in the past as soon as it is cognised. Taking a photograph is a distinctive action by which we continuously attempt to freeze-frame these moments in order to reminisce, recognise and remember. Artists Saschka, Leela Schauble, Ayman Kaake, Campbell LaPun,Payal Seghal, and Uri Auerbach explore this concept, each in with a distinctive approach to the medium of photography.
